March’s Heritage Chat was led by the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) and explored archaeology and innovation. CIfA are currently working with the Association of Local Government Archaeology Officers (ALGAO) on a project funded by Historic England to explore innovation and also, how historic environment professionals can learn about and incorporate innovative practice. The aim of the project is to build sector capacity and promote innovative approaches to maximise public benefit.
